Any Road

Lewis Carroll, the beloved author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, was not only a literary genius - he must have been an amazing psychologist. All those books I read and took seriously sent me on a roller coaster ride. After the initial inspiration, I often regress and go back to entertaining morbid thoughts about my future. But just one quote from this prolific author was enough to make me snap out of it:

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING, ANY ROAD WILL GET YOU THERE...

A FORK ROAD
Honestly, it's not that I don't know where I'm going (I deliberately placed a picture of a fork road to mock my self). There is this one place - a metaphor symbolizing a situation in life - I really, really like to go to. I just can't take a shortcut in getting there. What gives me uncertainty are these intervals and how I might make the most out of them. Reaching the actual and final destination will take a wee bit longer. No rush. I'm willing to wait, though, and tread on as many roads as necessary. Now that I think about it, does it matter where I end up? If I get filthy rich and fabulous before my 30's, will you still insist I be a lawyer? Come on, world! Don't be so thick. :/

Hey, you might want to read these quotes about life and future directions. They all have the word "road" in them to remind you of Adele's song: "Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements... even if it leads nowhere?" Not all roads have pavements. You might as well walk barefoot. Or if you're rich enough, buy a bulldozer and destroy all the entities separating roads from one another.

Quotes, quotes and away:

Well. That's enough road for today. Remember: WALK BAREFOOT! (:
